A I do not do Elopements on demand.* My weddings are by appointment only. Regular California Licenses can be purchased in any county and used in any other county. I do elopements when presented with either a Regular California License issued from any county or a Confidential License issued in Nevada County, CA. Their number is 530-265-1221, M-F, 8-5. They are in Nevada City at the Eric W. Rood Administrative Center, 950 Maidu Ave. Truckee no longer issues licenses here. Truckee is in both Placer and Nevada County. My chapel is in Nevada County but if you need to use a Confidential License issued from another county we can go to that (nearby) county for the service.

Q: What do you charge for a wedding? A: My prices are always in keeping with this area. I charge by what you need giving a big discount to weddings of "just the couple" at my "Chapel" location and Vow Renewals here. Weddings are never the same. See my Wedding Chapel and Your Location Wedding for suggested Ala Carte prices. Please call me at your convenience so we can discuss what you need. I want to make this easy and fun for you.
Q: How does it work? I've never done this before. A: We talk (best) or email me to check availability. Then I send you a PayPal Invoice by email to make the payment to hold your date and time. I follow up with a "Confirmation Email" as your receipt. You do not need a PayPal account to pay this way and you may choose to use a credit card with this invoice. I am a Verified Seller with PayPal. I except checks if you plan a month in advance.
Q: How do I pay the deposit and how much is it? A: The deposit is 50% with the remainder due before the wedding. See Payments & Terms. I accept PayPal or Checks. I send you a "Confirmation Email" as your receipt after receiving your deposit.
Q: Do we meet with you?
I arrive 30 to 40 minutes early to weddings to speak to each of you and attend to the service. This time before the wedding and phone calls are all we need for planning the wedding service. Leave the rest to me!
Q: How do we get the service we want?
A: I really want you to call me and talk to me about your desires for the wedding. There are many variations. For weddings at your location, after the deposit is paid I will send a draft of what I feel is right for both of you. I also send emails of vow variations, readings, customs & ceremonies, and for involved weddings at your location I email you a "Wedding Checklist" so you can check off what is done. For weddings here at the Chapel I have services to choose from. You may say your own written vows if you prefer. See the A la Carte Options available for weddings here. I will also make sure you know what you are suppose to do that day! Leave your worries to me!
Q: Do you come to rehearsals? A: For large weddings you will want to run the rehearsal with at least a knowledgeable friend. I charge for rehearsals as an option or I can gift you a "Do it Yourself Rehearsal" email. Just ask. I always make sure you are prepared to walk down the aisle.
Q: What is your Photo Retouching Service and experience? A: Under my Your Location Wedding page you will find my page on retouching those photos that you cherish but need some help before you print them. I have retouched photos for a wedding photographer as well as part of my graphic designer position over the years. Keep this in mind after your wedding for those photos that aren't as perfect as you would like. Call me on how to send them for an estimate to make them stunning!
